Desire of Sense

We are always seeking sensory stimulation, such as stimulating hearing, sight, taste and touch, and we will eventually pay the price for these insatiable desires. I created an anthropomorphic flytrap as the protagonist to tell the story of its self-destruction after devouring an overabundance of flying insects.

Inspired by my own experience of sudden deafness, which I suffered in 2019 because of watching a metal-rock show. In the process, I experienced the fear of hearing loss and the severe discomfort caused by hormone injections treatment, which I translated into a visual effect in the form of a frame-by-frame animation

Mother’s Mother

My grandmother gave birth to my mother, and my mother gave birth to me, but we have completely different surnames, and even though we are so closely related by blood, we are divided into different family lines because of our surnames. The matrilineal bloodline is thus divided. Even there is no female name in the family tree, our physical and emotional connection is long, complex and unbreakable.

Pangolins’ Game

The traditional concept believe that humans are nobler than nature, i.e. anthropocentric. According to this logic of domination, humans ' domination of nature is justified. Pangolins are one of the victims of the uncaring destruction of the environment, animal cruelty, and they are hunted and skinned brutally. I have designed a game that reverses the status of pangolins and humans, where players will act as pangolins hunting humans.

This is an illustrated book for children that aims to convey the idea that "don't be afraid to communicate with others with a sincere heart". In our fast-paced society, we are always looking for efficient and hypocritical ways of communicating to ensure that we are efficient and safe from harm. Yet sincerity is seen as foolishness. Protect your inner sincerity and trust that you will meet people who are equally sincere.

Over There

The protagonist of the film is a jobless woman from an ordinary family who is forced by financial pressure. She had to sell her body and then transform her consciousness to the digital world.
She owns a small house in the digital world and seems to be living a good life, but she realises that something is not right.
